1. Responsible for ordering all medical and health care supplies when necessary to maintain adequate supplies on hand.

2. Document in progress notes all remarkable occurrences and any client contact during your shift.

3. Document patients medical problems in progress and inform MD via memo or telephone of same.

4. Inform new shift nurse via memo of any treatment needed or clinic appointments and follow-up with the case manager.

5. Responsible for completing nursing assessment for all admissions on assigned tour.

6. Give all medications and take all vital signs during assigned shift; observe those patients who self medicate.

7. Take off physician orders written during your tour.

8. Inform physicians of any new admission and present with completed chart.

9. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements Nurse (RN or LPN) Requirements:

Must have a current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license At least one year experience working with a mental health population. Must be physically able to : A) Assist client with personal hygiene; B) Assist with lifting clients; C) Climb Stairs.
