Persons with developmental disabilities are
sometimes recruited by the criminal element.
When this occurs, a person with mental retardation
becomes a criminal as well as a victim. Catch,
in conjunction with the Philadelphia Department
of Adult Probation and Parole, provides intensive
case management, counseling, training and advocacy
coordination to Philadelphia residents with
mental retardation who have come in contact
with the Philadelphia Criminal Justice System. |
