This
16-bed program is designed to meet the needs
of consumers who in the past would have resided
at Philadelphia State Hospital (Byberry). It
is a service designed to meet the needs of the
most difficult consumers within our community
system. Persons admitted to the program are
referred solely by the County Office of Mental
Health, and may stay two or three years.

Program varies in staff intensity and consumer
